How is the character count calculated?
Unlike basic tools that just use JavaScript's string length (which counts UTF-16 code units), our tool uses grapheme segmentation. This means an emoji with a skin-tone modifier correctly counts as 1 visual character, not 4 or more.
Does the "No Spaces" count exclude line breaks?
Yes. The "Characters (No Spaces)" metric accurately filters out standard spaces, tabs, and newline characters to give you the exact number of visible symbols.
