What makes a good Discord role hierarchy?

How do I display roles separately in the member list?
In your Discord server settings, go to Roles, select a role, and check the box that says "Display role members separately from online members". This allows users with that role to appear in their own grouped section on the right-hand sidebar.
Can Discord roles have custom icons?
